Education Policy Task Force

Education Policy Task Force

The Education Policy Task Force provides a forum for state leaders to address emerging challenges and issues arising from dynamic educational conditions. Members of the task force focus on emerging trends, innovative and effective solutions, and viable policy positions and response projects. During meetings, task force members consider policy resolutions and suggested state legislation. The task force is designed to encourage multi-state problem solving and sharing of best practices, and to facilitate networking among state officials and between the public and private sectors. Task force priorities are established by the task force membership.  Potential task force priorities include early childhood education, dropout prevention, high school reform and education finance inequities.
