The Governing Board and Executive Committee oversee the business affairs, policy and program development of CSG. Together, the Governing Board and Executive Committee are the main decision-making body to which all other CSG committees, task forces, regions, affiliates and staff report, and also give final authority to CSG's policy positions and resolutions. The Governing Board includes 55 governors and two legislators, one from each chamber, from each of the 50 states and five territories.
