The Council of State Governments Annual Trends and Leadership Forum Meeting to feature speakers Zogby, Freeh
Zogby, acclaimed by many to be the nation’s most accurate pollster, will present findings from a recent survey that compares the public’s perceptions of government to state officials’ perceptions and will discuss the implications for state governments. Freeh, the former FBI director under Bill Clinton and author of My FBI, and Daniel Pink, author of A Whole New Mind will also speak at the forum. The conference will feature special presentations regarding a broad range of emerging trends including urban sprawl and its effect on farmland, public safety and justice issues confronting America’s aging population, and the use of information technology to reduce costs while improving the quality of health care. Members of the media are encouraged to attend this meeting, where hundreds of state leaders will discuss the rapid transformations to which states must adjust in order to govern efficiently and effectively.
