Mike Robinson Named CSG Deputy Director Former Kentucky state official Mike Robinson has been selected Deputy Director for Membership Services at The Council of State Governments. Daniel M. Sprague, executive director of the national state service organization based in Lexington, Ky., made the announcement this week. “Mike Robinson has exceptional public and private sector experience,” said Sprague. “His skill sets will advance CSG’s forward-looking, professional services to elected and appointed state officials around the country.” Robinson has served leading roles in key state government departments, including tours with different political administrations as commissioner of the Department of Community Based Services, commissioner of Kentucky’s Medicaid Services and commissioner of the Department of Social Insurance. He has also served as executive director of Administrative Services in the Governor’s Office for Technology and deputy commissioner of the Personnel Department.
