Distinguished Service to the States Award: Arch Lustberg

Arch Lustberg is recognized as the leading trainer in effective communications. He has coached state governors, congressional leaders, presidential appointees and leaders in business and industry and others. Lustberg's communications advice was recently featured in Capitol Ideas, the news magazine of The Council of State Governments.
Lustberg established his own training company in 1984. Prior to that, he was a consultant for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for six years, and directed the Chamber's Communicator Workshops. For 10 years he was a faculty member in The Catholic University of America's renowned Speech and Drama Department.
For the past 25 years, Lustberg has brought his years of experience and training to CSG's Henry Toll Fellowship Program. Always one of the highest rated portions of the Toll Fellowship Program, Lustberg continues to teach program participants how to clearly communicate policy facts while still engaging audiences. His dynamic techniques both educate and entertain. Please join us as we salute Lustberg's years of service to both CSG and to state officials across the country.
