The 2010 Elections: Issues & Answers

Sunday, Dec. 5 | 8-9:30 a.m.

Keynote: David Gergen, senior political analyst for CNN & U.S. News & World Report editor-at-large
There are many unanswered questions regarding the future of the country—and candidates from both parties need to have answers. Now that it’s the law of the land, will health care reform fundamentally change the political climate? How did it alter congressional races around the country? Is this just the beginning of more reform? What plans will Congress and the Obama administration pursue to grow the economy after the recession? Where is the country headed on education, energy, the environment, jobs and taxes? And how will all this affect what President Obama is able to accomplish as he heads toward the 2012 elections? Uncanny in his ability to translate what is happening in Washington, Gergen sets his sights on the current political landscape and the 2010 elections. A trusted adviser to presidents of both parties and a leading commentator for more than two decades, Gergen offers unmatched perspectives on America’s future.
