Sharing Capitol Ideas Roundtables: Health

This session will examine what’s ahead for health policy in 2011 and beyond as states prepare for full implementation of health reform in 2014. Will the 2010 midterm elections result in repeal or amendment of the federal law? Given the information presented in Saturday’s health sessions, what do states need to accomplish in their 2011-12 legislative sessions? The session will explore what preparations executive branch Medicaid officials and insurance departments need to take. Besides health reform, what other timely topics, such as mental health, adult immunizations, health disparities or HIV/AIDS, would you like to see CSG focus on in future meetings and publications? We invite you to come share your insights and ideas and learn from your colleagues.
