Review and Approval of Meeting Minutes from 2009 Spring Meeting

Suggested State Legislation
Task force members will consider, discuss and vote on public safety and justice legislation submitted for review. Recommendations are forwarded to the Suggested State Legislation committee for consideration and final determination about inclusion in CSG’s annual Suggested State Legislation publication.
Task force members will have the opportunity to submit, discuss and vote on policy resolutions. Those resolutions passed by the task force are forwarded for further consideration and adoption by the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee and then the Executive Committee.
V. Emerging Trends Discussions
Discussion of emerging trends within the areas of public safety and justice policy that will impact states in the next three to five years. Task force members will participate in determining how those issues affect states and how states can share information and options to address these emerging trends.
