International Committee | Looking Overseas to Drive America's Recovery: What Role Can Trade Play?

States spend an estimated $100 million collectively on trade promotion;  the federal government spends a little more than twice that amount. But the U.S. is still being outspent on a per capita basis by its major trading partners such as Canada and most European countries by as much as 20-to-1. Major economic players such as Germany are restructuring policy priorities to address serious export slumps. This session will address what the U.S. can do to help small companies survive and thrive.
