Hans Poschman joined CSG in 2012. In his current role, Poschman researches, analyzes and writes on issues related to agriculture, rural development, water, the environment and state fiscal issues.
Poschman has worked on agriculture and water issues for many years. He is a former California legislative staff member who worked in both the Assembly and the Senate. During his time with the California legislature he worked on numerous water, environment and agriculture issues including: dam removal, desalination, aquifer storage and recovery, TMDLs, agricultural water conservation, agricultural water quality issues, and seismic testing.
Poschman holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Policy from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly).
