Jonathan R. Watts Hull joined CSG in 1997. In his current role, Hull researches, analyzes and writes on issues related to agriculture, rural development and education. He also tracks legislative issues and policy developments in Florida, South Carolina and Virginia.
In agriculture and rural development, Hull has conducted in-depth research on federal farm policy, capital access for rural communities, institutional infrastructure for rural development, food safety and invasive species. In education, he has researched and written on federal education policy, autism, child nutrition and school meals programs, school finance, state Section 529 college savings plans and rural education.
A former Peace Corps volunteer working in both Uganda and Tanzania, Hull holds bachelor’s degrees in English and religious studies from the University of Virginia.
