
Kate Tormey
Kate Tormey works as part of CSG Midwest’s publications team to produce Stateline Midwest as well as a number of other print and online policy resources.
Tormey also staffs the Midwestern Legislative Conference Health and Human Services Committee, a group of legislators from around the Midwest who work together on issues in this area. In this role, she writes policy briefs and articles on a variety of health care topics, ranging from Medicaid to childhood obesity. She also produces a monthly e-newsletter, State Health News, and plans yearly conferences for the committee to gather and discuss key topics in health and human services.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
