Lisa Janairo joined CSG in 1991. Since 1992, she has directed CSG’s Midwestern Radioactive Materials Transportation Project. She has authored many articles and reports, including CSG’s Handbook of Radioactive Waste Transportation, and has testified at hearings of the U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board, the National Academies’ Committee on Transportation of Radioactive Waste, and the Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Future.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Janairo received her bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis., and a master’s degree from the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago.
