Lorene “Lori” Jones-Rucker has been with CSG since 2007.  Lori’s responsibilities include the management of the Center for the Advancement of Leadership Skills (CALS), the leadership program for the Southern region of CSG, and the Gulf Coast and Atlantic States Regional Task Force.
The Gulf Coast and Atlantic States Regional Task Force is comprised of a group of state leaders assembled to examine mechanisms to improve disaster preparation, response and recovery. It provides a forum for legislators, executive branch members responsible for homeland security and emergency management professionals to address the challenges of disaster management  and develop best practices regarding disaster preparedness, response and recovery.
Originally from Bolton, Miss., Jones-Rucker moved to Atlanta in 2000. She received a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in sociology from Spellman College in Atlanta.
