For the past eighteen years, Rich Lindsey has worked as a private consultant assisting nonprofit organizations, public agencies and private corporations in developing strategies to accomplish a variety of projects, initiatives and missions. He also serves as a policy consultant to CSG West in the areas of energy, health and economic development. In addition, Lindsey is a technical assistance consultant for tobacco, underage and adult binge drinking, suicide, and prescription drug abuse prevention community programs for the Wyoming Department of Health substance abuse division.
Prior to starting his own consulting business, Lindsey served in a number of capacities for Wyoming Gov. Mike Sullivan, including state planning coordinator, international trade director and deputy director of the state's economic development programs. Lindsey has earned master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming in public administration and international development.
