Tim Anderson joined CSG in 1999. In addition to publications responsibilities, Anderson also provides staffing assistance to the Great Lakes Legislative Caucus, a nonpartisan group of lawmakers from eight states—Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin—and two Canadian provinces—Ontario and Quebec. The goal of the caucus is to strengthen the role of state and provincial legislators in protecting and restoring the Great Lakes. Anderson tracks Great Lakes-related state, federal and provincial legislation for the caucus and helped form a working group to examine ballast water regulations in the region.
