CSG’s Governing Board would be augmented with expanded delegate appointments from each of CSG’s 56 member jurisdictions, including:
Principal legislative leaders from each chamber, including majority and minority representation
Highest-ranking judicial official
All CSG Executive Committee members
These adjustments would increase the size of CSG’s Governing Board from 242 seats to approximately 500 delegates. While the size of the Governing Board would increase, its authority would be limited to addressing those issues of organizational existence, such as dissolution, mergers, etc. The Governing Board would only meet to address such issues and would not convene on a regular basis. The Governing Board would vote by jurisdiction with each member jurisdiction having one vote and the quorum requirement would be increased to 30 member jurisdictions.
