Immigration

Although the federal government sets immigration policy, state governments play a pivotal role in servicing the needs of immigrant populations. CSG tracks population trends and policy developments within the states to help state leaders shape their responses to changing demographics. In addition, CSG tracks federal legislation on immigration policy to gauge its impact on state programs, responsibilities and financial resources.
