Private: Tools for States to Address Crime
State leaders—governors, legislators, and agency officials—share the goal of advancing safety and justice. To be successful, they need facts about the challenges in their states and practical, research-backed strategies. But the data we need to address these challenges are scattered across agencies and are often not made public soon enough to be useful, if at all. As a result, many leaders are clamoring for solutions.
